Mommom loves her sweet girl!

This is my sweet Quinn on Easter. She is 17 months old.
I just got this set of Close To My Heart stamps that are doilies -
oh.my.goodness, they are absolutely amazing. The detail is unbelievable and they come out so crisp and clean. (The one at the top is a little fuzzy - totally my fault as I didn't have enough ink on it and had to stamp it again. The one on the right could have used more ink also - totally a learning curve problem on my part! The one at the bottom came out perfectly, be sure to click on the close up of it to see how awesome these stamps work)

I used this beautiful sketch by Becky Fleck and entered her Page Maps contest

Here are some close-ups

Another fund raiser girl!

One of the students in the Christy Tomlinson She-Art Workshop I am taking has asked that we donate one of our canvases to a fund raiser she is working on. It turns out that the organization is near and dear to Christy's heart too! The organization is the Idaho Health Care Association -

"The IHCA is a non profit foundation that provides educational support for  caregivers of those working in long term care facilities, hospice programs, assisted living, and intermediate care facilities.  The Foundation Holds training and workshops for these caregivers and also awards scholarships to individuals pursing higher education."

Their theme this year is "Rising to New Heights". Here is the canvas I made for them:

Art Canvas - Jessica

This was my third "girl" but couldn't post it till I gave her to Jess today! Jess does amazing 3D art on her scrapbooks so I thought this phrase was appropriate for her. (Check out her blog here.) Red and black is one of Jess's favorite color combos, the purple boots were just meant to be!

Cessna Girl

This mixed media art piece is being donated to The International Cessna 170 Association for their fund raising auction at the 2011 convention. The background is an airport sectional and the silhouette is a Cessna 170. The piece is 8x10 on canvas.

I love how the name of one of the places on the map is "Field of Dreams"!
