Well, I was SO excited about this sketch by Julie Bonner that was posted on her blog. It is for a challenge on the Imaginisce blog. I laid in bed thinking about exactly which pictures and paper I was going to use. I got up this morning and ordered the pictures from WalMart, did my chores, picked up the pictures and excitedly started to create. I am just thrilled with how pretty it came out!
I photographed it and couldn't wait to post it for the challenge - that's when I reread Julie's post and remembered it was for
Imaginisce - AHHHHHHHHHHHH
I used all
Basic Grey paper - AHHHHHHHHHHHH what a wing-nut!
Oh well, I am very happy with the layout and will get a chuckle at my blunder each time I look at it.

Purple Scalloped Paper:
This layout has a transparency overlay on it which made taking the picture difficult. I stamped swirls in white and then sprinkled glitter on while the ink was still wet. At least the overlay will keep the glitter off the page protector! The pictures are of Sean and Adah in the big snowstorm on Feb 10.

Adah is such a sweet and gentle doctor with Judah Lion, also very thorough! She has a lamp harp she uses for a stethoscope and she can really hear his heart beating! Be sure to click on the layout to enlarge so you can have a good look at the adorable pictures!
This sketch by Liz Qualman inspired me to scrap these pictures of the Gordon's at the beach. The sketch was perfect because I wanted to feature the kids in front of the ocean but also wanted to include the smaller picture of the family.
The February challenge at Scrap-a-little.com is a Birthday layout with a number in the title - perfect motivation for me to make this layout of Zach and Jules at their birthday celebration last July!
