Kaiser Craft Inspiration Challenge
Kaiser Craft has a challenge to use this quote for inspiration:
"It's about Love, It's about Compassion, It's about Kindness & Faith. It has nothing to do with Luck, you get what you give so give Good."
I used beautiful papers from Kaiser's "Imagine" line and this really pretty sketch by Becky Fleck, and scrapped about my awesome nephew, Sean and his equally awesome wife, Jocelyn.

My Little Sketch Blook Sketch Challenge
Scenes of the recent 2 foot snowfall -early in the morning before it got all messed up by the dog and the snow plow!
Blue artisan paper is Fancy Pants, Pink snowflake paper is K & Co. I used Glimmer Mist for the very first time, and I like it! The pink snowflakes are white paper with pink Glimmer Mist on them. Pretty!

Sketchy Thursday Feb 18 challenge
This layout has a transparency overlay on it which made taking the picture difficult. I stamped swirls in white and then sprinkled glitter on while the ink was still wet. At least the overlay will keep the glitter off the page protector! The pictures are of Sean and Adah in the big snowstorm on Feb 10.

Gordon's at the Shore
This sketch by Liz Qualman inspired me to scrap these pictures of the Gordon's at the beach. The sketch was perfect because I wanted to feature the kids in front of the ocean but also wanted to include the smaller picture of the family.
Liz's art can be found at http://lizqualman.blogspot.com/

Scrapbooking blunder
Well, I was SO excited about this sketch by Julie Bonner that was posted on her blog. It is for a challenge on the Imaginisce blog. I laid in bed thinking about exactly which pictures and paper I was going to use. I got up this morning and ordered the pictures from WalMart, did my chores, picked up the pictures and excitedly started to create. I am just thrilled with how pretty it came out!
I photographed it and couldn't wait to post it for the challenge - that's when I reread Julie's post and remembered it was for Imaginisce - AHHHHHHHHHHHH
I used all Basic Grey paper - AHHHHHHHHHHHH what a wing-nut!
Oh well, I am very happy with the layout and will get a chuckle at my blunder each time I look at it.
