now they are also totally awesome dads!
I am entering this layout in contests for a Father's Day project
at Ideas for Scrapbookers, and Scrap it Forward.
The product used is from the Rough and Tough line by Fancy Pants Designs.
The sketch is by Liz Qualman.

Scrap it with a Song week 6 challenge

This week's song for the Scrap it with a Song challenge is "Sweet Child O' Mine" by Guns and Roses. I scrapped this adorable picture of MaryJo holding Jacob when he was not even a week old yet on Mother's day 2010 and titled it "Sweet Love of Mine". I used another of Liz Qualman's awesome sketches and entered her monthly contest as well. Too bad the picture shows up so orange on here, it really isn't and it is a very sweet picture. All product is American Crafts except the bubble "J" in the bottom right corner.

BoBunny card sketch challenge

This month's BoBunny card sketch is by the awesome artist Juliana Michaels. All elements are BoBunny except the card base and the brad. (Click on the photo to enlarge)

BoBunny Mom's Challenge

BoBunny's May challenge is to make a layout about moms. I used a PageMaps sketch and all BoBunny product with the exception of a DejaViews rub-on, Imaginisce paper flowers, and Pearls by Recollections. The background paper is one piece of paper, the left third is one side of the paper, and the right side is the back of the same piece of paper. I had to trim the bird's tail and piece it back on. The hole where the bird tail was is behind the picture!
I have scrapped this picture of my mother with her great granddaughters before, but I needed one for each of the girls albums, so I scrapped it again. The baby is my granddaughter and the little girl is my sister's granddaughter. The journaling is a quote about family which I found perfect for this photo. (If you click on the pictures, they get larger.)

Crate Paper Card Sketch Challenge

Crate Paper put up this card sketch challenge. I used all Crate Paper Mia Collection paper. Brad is also Crate Paper, Felt flower is Queen & Co, Pearls are Recollections. Punches used are Martha Stewart butterfly and EK Success scalloped circle. My card folds at the top and bottom and I have pictured the outside and the inside.

Magpie Club May Sketch Challenge

Magpie Club provided this beautiful sketch by Julie Bonner to work with this month. I combined it with Scrap - a - Little's challenge to use 90% Basic Grey product. I'm getting down to almost nothing left of BG Lilly Kate, but what I had was perfect for this project.

My first layout of my brand new grandson!

NSD Scrapbook Deals 4U Sketch / CK Title Challenge

Here is Quinn with her furry friends!
Purple patterned paper is Basic Grey Green at Heart.
All other components are Pink Paislee Bayberry Cottage.
Creating Keepsakes had a challenge to use one of the titles they had on a sheet of titles to download. That is where the "Furry Friends" title came from.

NSD Up The Street Sketch and Fancy Pants Challenges

This is Zachary at Cape May Beach in the Summer of 2009 - look at that gorgeous blond hair! The sketch is from Up the Street Scrapbooking and all of the paper and elements are Fancy Pants Designs "Rusted Sun" line.

Studio Calico Sketch Challenge w/ Cosmo Cricket

This layout is of Quinn on the beautiful quilt that Kathy made for her. The cardstock is Bazzil dot, the rest of the components are from the Cosmo Cricket Material Girl line. I made the larger banner from triangles that I cut from a photograph of the quilt itself. I think the red pearls tie it in nicely with the rest of the page.
