Like Father Like Son

Here is my 13 1/2 month old grandson Jacob with his daddy (my son-in-law Bryan) My daughter took this adorable picture of them camping on Father's Day weekend. Bryan is such an awesome dad and Jakey looks just like him!

I used this sketch by Karen Brierley for the Design Dollies challenge this week.

All product is by Fancy Pants Designs from the "Like Father Like Son" line. Even my title is cut directly from the packaging! (of course, in addition to the paper there is plenty of Tim Holtz distress ink in use also!)

I am finally getting more comfortable with boy layouts. The last few I've done have come together more easily and I am much happier with the results. (It's only taken me a year!)

Here is the sketch by scrapbaby! sketches
(I went with circles instead of squares to mimic the photo better.)

I made the hand stitching very loose for dimension - and I like it!

Distress Ink: Tim Holtz "barn door" and "tea dye"
