Practical Scrappers Second Anniversary Blog Hop!

Welcome to my playground! If you arrived here from Amyee's blog for the Practical Scrappers Second Anniversary Blog Hop then you've made it to the right place! I am your last stop before returning to the Practical Scrappers Blog. If you didn't arrive from Amyee's blog and would like to participate in the hop then start in the beginning at Christine's blog and I hope you'll stop back! Since this is a second anniversary celebration, you have seen lots of projects having to do with the number two from the awesome designers at Practical Scrappers.

I have a layout for you featuring two photo's from two generations! I also have two awesome prize packs to give away to two lucky hoppers who become a follower of my blog and comment on two of my posts!

This is an 8x8 layout I created for my son-in-law's 29th birthday, which is this weekend. The photo's are of him when he was 16 months old and of my adorable grand-daughter when she was 16 months old! Don't they look so much alike?!? (Well, except for the red hair which she inherited from my daughter!)

The paper and the owl die cuts are from My Minds Eye Alphabet Soup Girl's collection. Other product includes: letter stickers by Doodlebug Designs, Pink Paislee, and Cosmo Cricket; embroidery floss by DMC; leaf trim by Recollections, twine by The Twinery, and distress ink by Tim Holtz. The brown flourishes are cut with a Sizzlits die on cardstock from my stash.

You are probably seeing double by now, but before you return to the Practical Scrappers blog make sure you get entered to win a giveaway from me! Look through my blog and comment on two of my posts, become a follower here and at Practical Scrappers, and you will be entered to win one of two prizes from me! I will randomly choose the winners on Wednesday, August 10th and announce them here.

Thanks so much for stopping by, now return to Practical Scrappers and let them know you made it all the way through the hop! I hear there's an awesome prize to be won there also!

I had a fabulous time going through some of your earlier postings. I love the one you did in June called Father and Son. I love the big circle designs, all the stitching and of course the super cute photo.
The second one I really love is the Boys and their toys layout you posted in May. I love how bright and cheery it is, the cute quote and the bakers twine coming from the plane. I have a 2 year old Grandson with another due next month so am always thrilled to see little boy layouts.
I am a follower of your blog and the PS blog.
