Happy 4th!

I pinned this awesome flag on my "Techniques I want to try" Pinterest board, and sure enough I got around to trying it! Stephanie Ackerman made this one (I just love her work - you should poke around her blog!)
Here is my version done on a 6" x 6" canvas:
I used vintage book paper and loads of Tim Holtz Distress Stains mixed with ModPodge. Then lots of stamping and punchenella with StazOn inks.
When my new friend Sandee in the hills of North Carolina opens her July Project Pinterest, I'm going to share it there. It is a cool linky that she sets up each month to share any projects you've made inspired by something you saw on Pinterest.
Come join the fun!
Thanks for stopping by my blog.
I appreciate your comments!
Have a wonderful 4th of July holiday!
