Doilies!

Greetings!
Doilies

For my project I laid a paper doily on a wood craft frame and used it as a mask to apply modeling paste through. I love the look of white on kraft so I did not color the modeling paste at all. Prior to this step I stamped over the whole frame with a script stamp by Pink By Design using Ranger Archival ink in sepia.
On the areas of the frame that do not have the modeling paste I applied Ranger Distress Crackle Paint in Rock Candy.
The burlap flower is made from 2.5" wide burlap ribbon by Ballard Designs. The doilies behind the burlap flower are cut from a vintage doily. Leaves are cut from a piece of craft felt and pearls are from the wedding aisle at Michael's.
The butterflies are Making Memories with Recollections pearls and the edge is finished with Tim Holtz Tissue Tape.

I hope you are inspired to make a card, layout, or project using doilies and link it up with us at Frosted Designs for the (random) chance to win an awesome prize sponsored by Graphic 45 (3 paper packs - woot!)
or to be chosen by our design team as a Top Three!

Thanks for stopping by!
I appreciate your comments!
