Scrapbook Steals October Blog Hop!

Welcome to my stop along the way of the Scrapbook Steals October Blog Hop! If you came from Kat Ancheta's blog, you are on the right path. If not, and you'd like to start from the beginning, go to the Scrapbook Steals Blog here!

ScrapbookSteals.com is the place where crafters of all levels get hooked up
with the latest steal at an unbelievable price.
At ScrapbookSteals.com you'll find two hot scrapbooking products every day at up to 80% off.
Two amazing steals a day at 9am and 9pm MT until they sell out.
     It's not just a deal, it's a steal!  A scrapbook steal!

This month's hop features Love My Tapes Fabric Tape. I received two spools to work with as part of the design team - one spool of yellow gingham check and one spool of navy stripe. I found it to be a very nice quality fabric with strong adhesive on the back and backing paper that stays put until you're ready to take it off yet comes off easily when you're ready. It is very easy to work with and there is a lot on the spool - about 5 yards!

I've been taking an online sketching course with Junelle Jacobson called The Art of Wild Abandonment and in it she sketches a darling clothes line. As soon as I saw the patterns of fabric tape that Scrapbook Steals sent me, I knew I wanted to make a little yellow gingham sundress and a pair of overalls and hang them on a clothesline!
Silly me did not take any step-out pictures but suffice it to say there are layers and layers of paper, ink, paint, and Mod Podge on this project!

This canvas is 8"x 10" and is for sale for $35 + $5 shipping.
Please e-mail me if you'd like to purchase it!  SOLD! (tgfenster@gmail.com)

This is fabulous. Using fabric tape to make fabric clothing is not something I would have thought of -- which is a pity, because of course it is perfect.

How cute, love your use of the tape! Good to know that there is some backing, so you can lay the tape down before making it permanent.
