Christmas Ornaments

Greetings! Here are some gifts I made for my besties this year. They are 4"x4"x1.5" canvases so perhaps a bit big for an ornament (unless you have a very sturdy or fake tree) but they will be darling just sitting on a shelf as well.

The canvases have been covered with designer papers from Fancy Pants Designs then lots of rub-ons, stamping, masking, ink, and paint applied. The letters are Tim Holtz Grungeboard; the white ones are painted with Liquitex acrylic paint and the red ones are stained with TH Distress Stain in "aged mahogany". The stars I purchased at a local store for $1.95 each! I painted one white, then sanded off the paint on the high points, the other two are left just as I purchased them. I used eyelet screws which I stained with Ranger Alcohol Inks and tied with lots of trims from my stash.

I always finish the backs of my pieces too.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
I wish you a blessed Christmas!

I love your canvases, I made one as a gift and I also included a rhinestone studded pushpin with it so they had a pretty way to display it if they want to. Handmade gifts are the best! Merry Christmas, waving hi from the hills of North Carolina :)
