November 2012 366 project

WOW November already!
Bigger WOW - my calendar page is ready!
If you are unfamiliar with the 2012 366 art journal/calendar project, please click HERE for the full explanation.
I realize I used leaves (in a darn cute pile) for my October calendar and here I am using leaves again for November. Many of you know we've just been through Hurricane Sandy here on the East Coast and I wanted to recognize that in my calendar so my November page has a huge swirl of leaves to commemorate the winds that blew at 60-80 mph!
My background paper is from the Everyday Tango line by My Minds Eye, the leaves are hand cut from scraps in my stash, the rub-ons are by Karen Foster Design, flourish by Memory Box.
The scrapbook side of my November spread will be posted on November 9th as part of the Frosted Designs Fall Blog Hop.
Please visit Kate's Blog to see how she and others have interpreted this challenge. Click on the "2012 366 project" tab above to see my other pages.
Thanks for stopping by! I appreciate your comments!

The way that you have chosen to commemorate the hurricane in your journal is delightful. The wreath of leaf shapes is an interesting design. I love this.

I really am very late looking around at the November pages, but I am here at last!!
I'm so sorry that you got hit by hurricane Sandy, but what a great way to remember it in your journal! The leaves look amazing, fab idea :-)
We are almost at the end of 2012, but the question is, are you going to carry on next year?!!
